TP SENSOR VOLTAGE SPECIFICATIONS

Application (1) Volts
Alero & Grand Am
2.2L (2)
3.4L (3)
Malibu
3.1L (4)
(1) Voltage range is from idle to wide open throttle.
(2) The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) computes the Throttle Position (TP) from the TP sensor voltage input. The TP angle will auto zero to zero percent at idle when the TP voltage is below 0.90 volt. The TP angle will read 100 percent at Wide Open Throttle (WOT).
(3) Scan Tool Range 0-100% or 0.00-5.00 volts. The voltage being monitored by the PCM on the TP sensor signal circuit.
(4) Voltage ranges from 0.00-5.00 volts.
