Amplifier (Bose) Scan Tool Data List

Parameter Expected Value Definition
Operating Conditions:  Ignition ON
Battery Voltage Varies This displays volts. This is the current voltage of the battery.
Calculated System Temperature Varies This displays°C (°F). This is the calculated temperature of the system.
Calibration ID Varies The scan tool displays the Calibration ID of the module.
Module Information Varies The scan tool displays various module information.
VIN Information Varies The scan tool displays digits from the vehicles vin number.
Amplifier (Bose) Scan Tool Output Controls

Scan Tool Output Control Additional Menu Selections Description
AudioPilot Test Amplifier
  • Turn radio ON.
  • Make sure audiopilot is ON.
  • Turn radio station to FM channel with a lot of static.
  • Audiopilot will increase volume and then decrease volume.
Center IP Speaker Front Speakers
  • Commanding the speaker ON will turn OFF all speakers except this speaker.
  • Commanding the speaker ON will produce a tone heard from this speaker.
  • Commanding the speaker OFF will turn OFF all speakers.
Left Front Tweeter Front Speakers
  • Commanding the speaker ON will turn OFF all speakers except this speaker.
  • Commanding the speaker ON will produce a tone heard from this speaker.
  • Commanding the speaker OFF will turn OFF all speakers.
Left Front Door Speaker Front Speakers
  • Commanding the speaker ON will turn OFF all speakers except this speaker.
  • Commanding the speaker ON will produce a tone heard from this speaker.
  • Commanding the speaker OFF will turn OFF all speakers.
Microphone Test Amplifier Tests the noise compensation microphone operation.

  • Commanding the speaker ON will turn OFF all speakers except this speaker.
