CONDITION/CONCERN

Some customers may comment on one or more of the following:

DIC messages
SES Light ON
IPC warning indicators
Accessories malfunctioning.

This may be caused by loose ground terminal connections.

RECOMMENDATION/INSTRUCTIONS

Technicians should inspect the wire/terminals for damage. If no damage is found, tighten the ground nut to proper torque and use labor code 5430962 - Ground Connection Repair . Do not replace a wire or ground terminal if damage is not present when reattaching the connection with the proper torque would complete the repair. Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications in SI.
