Circuit/System Testing

- Center the balance and fade adjustment on the radio.
- If adjustment of the fade and balance eliminates the concern, review the operation of the radio with the customer.
- Verify that the wireless headphones are set to the proper channel and are working properly.
- If the wireless headphones are not operating properly, refer to Video Entertainment System Wireless Headphone Inoperative .
- Ignition OFF, disconnect the X1 RSA connecter harness.
- Verify that a test lamp illuminates between the B+ circuit terminal 5 and ground.
- If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the B+ circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance.
- Verify that a test lamp illuminates between the ground circuit terminal 6 and B+.
- If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the ground circuit for an open/high resistance.
- If all circuits test normal, replace the RSA control module.
