BARTEC TPMS Reset Procedure

Preferred Method: OBD

    (Tech400SD/500/PRO Series ONLY) 

  1. Inflate tires to placard.
  2. Following on tool prompts, read all sensor IDs using tool.
  3. Following on tool prompts, connect tool to OBDII port. Tool will prompt you to ensure the key is ON/engine OFF.
  4. Continue to follow the tool prompts until the tool indicates relearn is successful.
NOTE: Vehicle may need to be driven to refresh pressure reading on the dash.

Alternate Method: Stationary

  1. Set parking brake.
  2. Turn ignition to ON/RUN.
  3. Press the MENU button until "VEHICLE INFORMATION MENU" is displayed.
  4. Once you are in the VEHICLE INFORMATION MENU, navigate till DIC displays the vehicle's tire inflation pressures and positions.
  5. Press the SET/CLR button.
  6. Highlight YES.
    NOTE: If above not in menu, use RKE and press lock and unlock button down until horn chrips.
  7. Activate the left front sensor. Once the sensor has been activated, the horn will chirp. Repeat procedure: RF, RR, LR. Horn should chirp twice.
