  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the telltale assembly information center.
  2. Ignition ON, verify a test lamp illuminates between the telltale assembly supply voltage circuit terminal 1.
    • If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the supply voltage circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the telltale assembly information center.
  3. Ignition OFF, disconnect the X1 harness connector at the rear parking assist module.
  4. Ignition OFF, connect the harness connector at the telltale assembly information center.
  5. Connect a 3A fused jumper wire between the telltale assembly supply voltage circuit terminal 2 and B+.
  6. Ignition ON, connect a jumper wire between the following telltale assembly indicator control circuits and ground. When the telltale circuit is jumpered to ground, the indicator should illuminate.
    • Telltale assembly indicator control circuit terminal 4
    • Telltale assembly indicator control circuit terminal 9
    • Telltale assembly indicator control circuit terminal 10
    • If any of the indicators do not illuminate, test the control circuit for a short to voltage or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the telltale assembly information center.
  7. If all circuits test normal, test or replace the rear object alarm module.
