Preliminary Procedure Remove the liftgate center applique. Refer to Liftgate Center Applique Replacement .
1	Liftgate Release Switch Procedure Disconnect the electrical harness from the applique. Depress the clip fingers and push outward to remove the outside handle from the applique.
