Circuit/System Verification

  1. verify DTC B097B 08 or B097B 61 is not set.
    • If any of the DTCs are set, test or replace the S38 ignition mode switch.
  2. With the brake pedal released, press the ignition mode switch once. The amber LED should illuminate and the vehicle should be in the accessory power mode.
  3. With the brake pedal released, press the ignition mode switch a second time or press and hold the ignition mode switch for 5 seconds. The green LED should illuminate and the vehicle should be in the run power mode.
  4. With the brake pedal pressed, press the ignition mode switch once. The green LED should illuminate and the vehicle should start.
