Power Steering Fluid Cooler Replacement

Power Steering Fluid Cooler Replacement

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Place drain pans under the vehicle.
  2. Remove as much power steering fluid from the reservoir as possible.
  3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  4. Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .
1 Power Steering Fluid Cooler Hose Clamp (Qty: 2)
Procedure 
Loosen the hose clamps and disconnect the power steering fluid cooler inlet and outlet hoses from the power steering fluid cooler.
2 Power Steering Fluid Cooler Bracket Bolt (Qty: 2)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
9 N.m (80 lb in)
3 Power Steering Fluid Cooler

Procedure

  1. Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding .
  2. Clean any excess power steering fluid from the vehicle.
