Fuse Block Replacement

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Remove the battery positive cable at the fuse block. Refer to Battery Positive and Negative Cable Replacement (LFX) .
1 Battery Fuse Block Cover

Procedure

  1. Unlock the larger locking latch.
  2. Unlock the hook of the cover from the window housing.
  3. Carefully open the battery fuse block cover
NOTE:

To avoid breakage, ensure to pull the housing and not the flap.

2 Battery Fuse Block Battery Positive Cable Nut
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
12 N.m (106 lb in)
3 Battery Fuse Block Battery Positive Cable
4 Body and IP Harness Terminal Nut (Qty: 4)
Tighten 
4.7 N.m (42 lb in)
NOTE:

The actual number of terminals may vary depending on option content.

5 Battery Hold Down Retainer
Procedure 
Reposition battery hold down retainer to remove the battery fuse block.
