Preliminary Procedure Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection . Remove the battery positive cable at the fuse block. Refer to Battery Positive and Negative Cable Replacement (LFX) .
1	Battery Fuse Block Cover Procedure Unlock the larger locking latch. Unlock the hook of the cover from the window housing. Carefully open the battery fuse block cover NOTE: To avoid breakage, ensure to pull the housing and not the flap.
2	Battery Fuse Block Battery Positive Cable Nut CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)
3	Battery Fuse Block Battery Positive Cable
4	Body and IP Harness Terminal Nut (Qty: 4) Tighten 4.7 N.m (42 lb in) NOTE: The actual number of terminals may vary depending on option content.
5	Battery Hold Down Retainer Procedure Reposition battery hold down retainer to remove the battery fuse block.
