Steering Column Tilt Wheel and Telescope Control Module Learn

The Steering Column Tilt Wheel and Telescope Control Module Learn procedure must be completed when the following components are replaced:

* Steering Column Tilt Wheel and Telescope Control Module

* Steering Column Tilt Motor

* Steering Column Telescope Motor

The Steering Column Tilt Wheel and Telescope Control Module Learn procedure can be completed without a scan tool using the following steps:

1. Ignition ON, engine OFF.

Note: To perform the learn procedure, the directional order does not require a specific sequence. Reaching the mechanical hard stop of each direction is the only requirement.

2. Using the steering column tilt and telescope switch, actuate the column to each mechanical hard stop in each direction listed below;

* Tilt column full up

* Tilt column full down

* Telescope column full forward

* Telescope column full rearward

3. Ignition OFF and all vehicle systems OFF. It may take up to 2 minutes for all vehicle systems to power down.
