Connecting a Cellular Telephone
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2010 Cadillac SRX. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
IMPORTANT:
Make sure the cellular telephone being connected has been paired with the Bluetooth car kit or the connection will not be successful.
Connection between a paired cellular telephone and the Bluetooth car kit can be established using the following procedure.
- Move the cellular telephone to within 10 meters (32 feet) of the vehicle's Blue Tooth Module, preferably inside the vehicle.
- Make sure the cellular telephone is switched on and the Bluetooth function has been activated.
- Turn the ignition to the ON position.
- Press the Bluetooth button on the steering wheel (if required). A phone symbol will appear in the instrument panel center display for a few seconds.
