Connecting a Cellular Telephone

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2010 Cadillac SRX. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
IMPORTANT: Make sure the cellular telephone being connected has been paired with the Bluetooth car kit or the connection will not be successful.

Connection between a paired cellular telephone and the Bluetooth car kit can be established using the following procedure.

  1. Move the cellular telephone to within 10 meters (32 feet) of the vehicle's Blue Tooth Module, preferably inside the vehicle.
  2. Make sure the cellular telephone is switched on and the Bluetooth function has been activated.
  3. Turn the ignition to the ON position.
  4. Press the Bluetooth button on the steering wheel (if required). A phone symbol will appear in the instrument panel center display for a few seconds.
