Powertrain High Speed GMLAN Circuit Description

The high speed GMLAN powertrain expansion bus is a subsystem communications bus exclusively for Powertrain and Hybrid subsystem and functions the same as the high speed GMLAN bus. All diagnostic information is available through the primary high speed GMLAN bus only. The bus is optional based upon feature content. Since the high speed GMLAN powertrain expansion bus and the primary high speed GMLAN bus operate in the same manner, the diagnostics are for each are similar. However, the diagnostics for the high speed GMLAN powertrain expansion bus are done on auxiliary data connector.
