Park Assist Switch

Static Test

1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the S48D Multifunction Switch 2 - Instrument Panel.
2. Test for infinite resistance between the signal terminal 6 and the ground terminal 5.
   • If not infinite resistance 

     Replace the S48D Multifunction Switch 2 - Instrument Panel.

   • If infinite resistance 
3. Test for less than 10 Ω between the signal terminal 6 and the ground terminal 5 while pressing the park assist switch.
   • If not less than 10 Ω 

     Replace the S48D Multifunction Switch 2 - Instrument Panel.

   • If less than 10 Ω 
4. All OK
