Circuit/System Testing
- Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the appropriate P19 speaker. Ignition ON, infotainment system ON, mute OFF.
- Test for 5-7 V between the appropriate signal circuit terminals listed below and ground.
- door, tweeter, and center I/P speakers audio (-) circuit terminal 1
- door, tweeter, and Center I/P speakers audio (+) circuit terminal 2
- subwoofer audio (-) circuit terminal A
- subwoofer audio (+) circuit terminal B
- rear cargo door audio (-) circuit terminal A (UQS ONLY)
- rear cargo door audio (+) circuit terminal B (UQS ONLY)
- Ignition OFF, disconnect the X1 and X2 harness connectors at the T3 audio amplifier.
- Test for infinite resistance between the signal circuit and ground.
- If less than infinite resistance, repair the short to ground on the circuit.
- Test for less than 2 Ω in the signal circuit end to end.
- If 2 Ω or greater, repair the open/high resistance in the circuit.
- If less than 2 Ω, replace the T3 audio amplifier.
- Ignition OFF, disconnect the X1 and X2 harness connectors at the T3 audio amplifier. Ignition ON.
- Test for less than 1 V between the signal circuit and ground.
- If 1 V or greater, repair the short to voltage on the circuit.
- If less than 1 V, replace the T3 audio amplifier.
- Test or replace the P19 speaker.
