Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON, place the transmission shift lever into manual mode position.
  2. Verify the scan tool Up and Down Shift Switch 2 parameter displays Upshift, when pushing rearward on the S2R Transmission Manual Shift Switch - Right.
    • If the parameter does not display Upshift 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • If the parameter does display Upshift 
  3. Verify the scan tool, Up and Down Shift Switch 2 parameter displays Down Shift when pushing rearward on the S2L Transmission Manual Shift Switch - Left.
    • If the parameter does not display Downshift 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • If the parameter does display Downshift 
  4. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observe from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
  5. Verify the DTC does not set.
    • If the DTC sets 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • If the DTC does not set 
  6. All OK.
