Removal Procedure

Remove the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement (AWD) .
Remove the fuel sender assembly from the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Sender Assembly Replacement (AWD) .

Disconnect the fuel feed pipe (2) from the fuel pump module (1). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
Disconnect the fuel tank module harness connectors.

Use the CH-45722 fuel sender lock ring wrench (1), to remove the fuel sender lock ring (2) from the fuel pump module.

Carefully lift the fuel pump module (1) while guiding the fuel tank crossover pipe (2) from the fuel tank (3).
Remove and DISCARD the fuel pump module O-ring.
