Preliminary Procedure Remove the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement .
1	Windshield Wiper System Module Bolt (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Bend back the plenum side panel foam pad to access the bolt. NOTE: Tighten the outboard mounting bolt (round hole), then the inboard mounting bolt (slotted hole) to ensure proper mounting of the wiper module. Tighten 8 N.m (71 lb in)
2	Windshield Wiper System Module Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector. Release the windshield wiper system module retaining feature by sliding it towards the passenger side of the vehicle. Remove the wiper motor harness retainer from the stud. Remove the windshield wiper module from the vehicle. Carefully install the alignment grommet on the back of the wiper module into the dash panel. If the module is not installed correctly, the wiper arms may rub and scrape on the windshield acting like the wiper linkage is bent. Adjust the wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Adjustment .

Procedure

Tighten
8 N.m (71 lb in)

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connector.

Remove the wiper motor harness retainer from the stud.
Remove the windshield wiper module from the vehicle.
Carefully install the alignment grommet on the back of the wiper module into the dash panel. If the module is not installed correctly, the wiper arms may rub and scrape on the windshield acting like the wiper linkage is bent.
Adjust the wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Adjustment .
