Pedestrian Impact Detection Sensor Replacement - Front Upper Beam

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Disable the pedestrian impact detection system. Refer to Pedestrian Impact Detection System Disabling and Enabling .
  2. Remove the front fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .
  3. Remove the front fascia absorber. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber Replacement (BRT)Front Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber Replacement (Standard) .
1 Pedestrian Impact Detection Sensor Bolt (Qty: 5)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
3 N.m (27 lb in)
2 Pedestrian Impact Detection Sensor
Procedure 
Disconnect the electrical connector.
