Preliminary Procedures Disable the pedestrian impact detection system. Refer to Pedestrian Impact Detection System Disabling and Enabling . Remove the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement .
1	Pedestrian Impact Detection Sensor CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector. Loosen the sensor integral bolt. TIP: The bolt is an integral part of the sensor and should remain with the sensor. Tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in)

CAUTION:

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connector.
Loosen the sensor integral bolt.

TIP: The bolt is an integral part of the sensor and should remain with the sensor.
Tighten
10 N.m (89 lb in)
