Preliminary Procedure Remove the liftgate lower trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Lower Trim Finish Panel Replacement .
1	Liftgate Latch Screw (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
2	Liftgate Latch Assembly Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector. Remove the plastic tether before installing the liftgate latch. Calibrate the liftgate. Refer to Liftgate Calibration .
