Circuit/System Verification

- Ignition ON.
- Verify DTC B391E 66 is not set.
- If the DTC is set
- If the DTC is not set
- Verify DTC B391E 00, B391E 03, B391E 04, B391E 07, B391E 08, B391E 0B, B391E 3A, or B391E 74 is not set.
- If DTC is set
- Replace the K172 Night Vision Control Module to B276 Night Vision Camera cable.
- Verify DTC DTC B391E 00, B391E 03, B391E 04, B391E 07, B391E 08, B391E 0B, B391E 3A, or B391E 74 is set after replacing the cable.
- If the DTC does not set
All OK.
- If the DTC sets after cable replacement
- If the DTC does not set
- Replace the B276 Night Vision Camera
- Verify DTC DTC B391E 00, B391E 03, B391E 04, B391E 07, B391E 08, B391E 0B, B391E 3A, or B391E 74 is set after replacing the B276 Night Vision Camera.
- If the DTC does not set
All OK.
- If the DTC is set
- If the DTC does not set
- Replace the K172 Night Vision Control Module.
- If the DTC is not set
- Verify DTC B391E 3B, B391E 59, or B391E 7F is not set.
- If DTC is set
- Replace the B276 Night Vision Camera
- Verify DTC B391E 3B, B391E 59, or B391E 7F is set after replacing the B276 Night Vision Camera.
- If the DTC does not set
All OK.
- If the DTC is set
- If the DTC does not set
- Replace the K172 Night Vision Control Module.
- If the DTC is not set
- Verify DTC B391E 31, B391E 34, B391E 36, B391E 38, or B391E 39 is not set.
- If DTC is set
Replace the B276 Night Vision Camera
- If the DTC is not set
- If DTC is set
- Verify DTC B391E 55, B391E 56, B391E 61, B391E 62, or DTC B391E 63 is not set.
- If DTC is set
Replace the B276 Night Vision Camera
- If the DTC is not set
- If DTC is set
- Verify DTC B391E 54 is not set.

- If DTC is set
- Allow the camera to cool.
- Clear the DTC. Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC is set, replace the B276 Night Vision Camera
- If the DTC does not set
- All OK.
- If the DTC is not set
- All OK.
NOTE:
Allow the vehicle to cool if the ambient temperature is excessive before proceeding with this diagnostic procedure. The camera will not operate with internal temperatures higher than 176 °F (80 °C)
