Circuit/System Description

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2016 Cadillac CT6. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The RSE module controls the position of the P22 Video Display via the LVDS cable. When the UP position is desired, the RSE Module sends a signal via the P22 Video Display LVDS cable, which commands the P22 Video Display actuator to raise the display. When the display reaches the fully raised position, the actuator controller sends a signal to the RSE Module.

To lower the display, the RSE Module sends a signal via the LVDS Cable, which commands the P22 Video Display actuator to lower the display. When the display reaches the fully lowered position, the actuator controller sends a signal to the RSE Module.

The display automatically returns to the lowered position when the ignition is turned OFF. When the ignition is turned ON, the radio commands the display to return to it's previous position, raised or lowered, that was commanded during the previous ignition cycle.
