Circuit/System Verification

NOTE: Test or replace the remote control batteries before performing the circuit/system verification.
  1. Verify no DTCs are present.
    • If no DTCs are present 
  2. Ignition On/Vehicle in Service Mode. Rear seat entertainment system ON.
  3. Verify that all remote control buttons operate and perform the correct function.
    • If some, but not all, controls operate. 

      Replace the remote control.

    • If all controls are inoperative. 
    1. Replace the remote control.
    2. Verify that all remote control buttons operate and perform the correct function.
      • If all controls are inoperative, refer to Circuit/System Testing
      • If all controls operate and perform the correct function.
    3. All OK.
    • If all controls operate and perform the correct function. 
  4. All OK.
