Circuit/System Verification

NOTE: To ensure that the steering column lock password from the BCM is learned: turn ignition ON and then OFF, close all doors and wait 5 minutes.
  1. Ignition ON. Clear all DTCs.
  2. Verify DTC B2910 does not set while operating the steering column lock module within the conditions for running the DTC.
    • If DTC B2910 sets 
    1. Program the K60 Steering Column Lock Module.
    2. Ignition ON. Clear all DTCs.
    3. Verify DTC B2910 does not set while operating the steering column lock module within the conditions for running the DTC.
      • If DTC B2910 sets, replace the K60 Steering Column Lock Module.
      • If DTC B2910 does not set
    4. All OK.
    • If DTC B2910 does not set 
  3. All OK.
