Global Positioning System (GPS) Antenna
The Global Positioning System (GPS) antenna is located externally of the vehicle. The GPS antenna is powered through a coaxial cable from the Navigation Control module. The Antenna contains not only function for basic GPS but a Geomagnetic sensor, Acceleration sensor, Motion sensor and a Gyroscope to provide accurate GPS location. Interference to the system may occur if signals are obstructed by atmospheric conditions, objects, tall buildings and trees.
