Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON.
  2. Verify the M40 Rear Compartment Lid Latch functions when commanding the Trunk Lid Unlatch with a scan tool.
    • If the M40 Rear Compartment Lid Latch does function 
  3. Verify the M40 Rear Compartment Lid Latch functions when pressing the S58B Rear Compartment Lid Unlatch Switch-Interior.
    • If the M40 Rear Compartment Lid Latch does not function 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • If the M40 Rear Compartment Lid Latch does function 
  4. All OK.
