The diversity antenna system uses antennas applied as appliques to the rear glass and a antenna amplifier and a antenna module. The antenna amplifier receives both AM and FM signals, while the left antenna module receives FM and DAB signals. The antenna amplifier and module receive the signals from the glass antenna. Each antenna amplifier and module is connected to the Navigation Control Module by a coaxial cable. when equipped with the digital audio broadcast receiver, the antenna module provides the FM2 signals and the digital audio signals to the Navigation Control Module via two separate coax cables.

The digital audio broadcast receiver, located inside the Navigation Control Module, receives digital radio information from the antenna module. The digital audio broadcast receiver is connected to the antenna module via a shielded coax cable. The module contains an amplifier which is powered by the Navigation Control Module through the coax cable.
