Circuit/System Description

The body control module (BCM) monitors the voltage level in the child security door lockout switch signal circuit, when the switch is in the open position the voltage in the signal circuit will be equal to the B+ voltage level. When the child security door lockout switch is pressed, voltage within the signal circuit drops and the BCM will detect the voltage drop and will energize the door lock relay to disable the interior rear door handles.
