Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Battery Negative Cable

  1. Install Battery Negative Cable (3)
  2. Use an open ended wrench to hold the battery sensor ground tab, while tightening the battery negative cable nut. (2)
    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  3. Battery Negative Cable Nut (1) Tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)

  4. Install Battery Negative Cable (2)
  5. Install Battery Negative Cable Frame Ground Fastener (1) and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  6. Engage Retainer (3)
  7. Install Battery Negative Cable (2)
  8. Install Battery Negative Cable Ground Fastener (1) and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
