Circuit/System Verification

DTC C0460 4B

1. Ignition ON.
2. Verify that DTC C0460 4B is not set.
   • If the DTC C0460 4B is set 

     Calibrate the K43 Power Steering Control Module. Refer to Power Steering Control Module Calibration 

   1. Verify that DTC C0460 4B is not set.
      • If the DTC C0460 4B is set 

        Replace the steering gear.

      • If the DTC C0460 4B did not set 

        All OK.

   • If the DTC C0460 4B is not set 
3. All OK.

DTC C0460 58

1. Verify that all harness connectors are installed properly at the K43 Power Steering Control Module.
   • If a harness connector at the K43 Power Steering Control Module is not installed properly 
   1. Connect the appropriate harness connector properly at the K43 Power Steering Control Module.
   2. Verify the DTC does not set.
      • If the DTC sets, replace the Steering Gear.
      • If the DTC does not set
   3. All OK.
   • If all harness connectors at the K43 Power Steering Control Module are installed properly 
2. Ignition ON.
3. Verify the scan tool Steering Wheel Angle parameter changes when turning the steering wheel.
   • If the parameter does not change 

     Replace the Steering Gear.

   • If the parameter changes 
4. All OK.

DTC C0460 5A

1. Ignition ON.
2. Verify that DTC C0460 5A is not set.
   • If the DTC C0460 5A is set 
   1. Verify that the steering wheel angle alignment is correct. Refer to Wheel Alignment - Steering Wheel Angle and/or Front Toe Adjustment
   2. Calibrate the K43 Power Steering Control Module. Refer to Power Steering Control Module Calibration 
   3. Verify that DTC C0460 5A is not set.
      • If the DTC C0460 5A is set 

        Replace the steering gear.

      • If the DTC C0460 5A did not set 

        All OK.

   • If the DTC C0460 5A is not set 
3. All OK.
