Circuit/System Description

The Shift Interlock Button Switch is located in the S156 Transmission Shift Lever Knob which is mounted on the S3 Transmission Shift Lever. The Shift Interlock Button Switch has two internal sensors which are monitored by the Chassis Control Module. When the Shift Interlock switch is pressed the Chassis Control Module will process the request and send a command signal to the Transmission Range Control Module via serial data.
