Component Testing

Seat Lumbar/Bolster Pump

  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the G31 Seat Lumbar/Bolster Pump.
  2. Install a 10 A fused jumper wire between control terminal 1 and 12 V.
  3. Momentarily install a jumper wire between the ground terminal 2 and ground. The seat lumbar/Bolster pump should momentarily turn ON.
    • If the pump does not turn ON 

      Replace the G31 Seat Lumbar/Bolster Pump.

    • Go to next step: If the pump turns ON 
  4. All OK.
