Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition On/Vehicle in Service Mode.
  2. Verify the backlight within the B70 Liftgate Close Switch turns ON and dims when commanding the LED Backlight Dimming Command with a scan tool.
    • If the backlight is always ON or always OFF 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • Go to next step: If the backlight turns ON and turns OFF 
  3. All OK.
