Circuit/System Verification
- Ignition ON/Vehicle in Service Mode.
- Verify no other DTC is not set.
- If other DTC is set
- Go to next step: If no other DTCs are set
- Verify Rear Vision Camera Display operates properly. Refer to Rear Vision Camera System Malfunction (without UVH, Z49, EF7, or CV4) Rear Vision Camera System Malfunction (without UVH, with Z49, EF7, or CV4) Rear Vision Camera System Malfunction (UVH without EF7, Z49, or CV4) Rear Vision Camera System Malfunction (UVH with EF7, Z49, or CV4)
- Engine running, parking brake applied, transmission in R.
- Verify the scan tool BCM Backup Lamps Relay Command parameter is Active.
- If Backup Lamps Relay Command parameter is not Active
Test or replace the K9 Body Control Module.
- Go to next step: If Backup Lamps Relay Command parameter is Active
- If Backup Lamps Relay Command parameter is not Active
- Test or replace the K74 Human Machine Interface Control Module.
NOTE:
A clear rear vision image is an image that is free of flickering, blinking, excessive blue/yellow hue, and/or blurriness/pixilation such that it obstructs the drivers view out the rear of the vehicle.
