Circuit/System Description

The battery charger is controlled with a charger enable signal and a pulse width modulated (PWM) charger control circuit from the hybrid/EV powertrain control module 2. The charger enable signal is set to 12 V when the hybrid/EV powertrain control module 2 is awake. This allows the battery charger to operate while driving to allow DC voltage sensor operation.
