Installation Procedure

  1. GM3417289

    With an assistant, install the windshield (1) and locator pins (2) into the opening. Refer to Adhesive Installation of Windshields .

  2. Install the outside moisture sensor. Refer to Windshield Outside Moisture/Ambient Light and Humidity Sensor Replacement .
  3. Install the camera. Refer to Front View Camera Replacement (With UGN)Front View Camera Replacement (With UFL)Front View Camera Replacement (With UQT) .
  4. Install the inside rearview mirror. Refer to Inside Rearview Mirror Replacement .
  5. Install the front section of the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Without Sunroof)Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (With Sunroof) .
  6. Install the windshield garnish moldings. Refer to Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement .
  7. Install the air inlet grille. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement .
  8. Install the windshield side reveal molding. Refer to Windshield Side Reveal Molding Replacement .
  9. Install the windshield wipers arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement .
  10. Remove the double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the painted surfaces and the interior trim.
  11. Close the hood.
