Circuit/System Verification
- Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Verify that no DTCs are set.
- If any DTC is set
- Go to next step: If no DTC is set
- Verify the scan tool parameter: Stop/Start Select Switch = Inactive
- If not the specified value

- Go to next step: If the specified value
- If not the specified value
- Press and hold the switch: Stop/Start Select Switch @ S48C Multifunction Switch 1 - Instrument Panel
- Verify the scan tool parameter: Stop/Start Select Switch = Active
- If not the specified value

- Go to next step: If the specified value
- If not the specified value
- Press and release the switch: Stop/Start Select Switch @ S48C Multifunction Switch 1 - Instrument Panel
- Verify the component activates: Stop/Start Select Switch Indicator
- If the component does not activate

- Go to next step: If the component activates
- If the component does not activate
- Verify the scan tool parameter:
- Battery Sensor Module Battery State Information = Available
- Battery Sensor Module Reset Occurred - Using Estimated State of Charge = No
- If not the specified value
- Refer to: Battery Sensor Module Learn
- Road Test - Vehicle
Verify the correct operation: Stop/Start System
- If a condition exists
- Go to next step: If no condition exists
- All OK.
- Go to next step: If the specified value
- Test drive the vehicle.
Verify a condition does not exist with the component: Stop/Start Function
- If a condition exists
- Go to next step: If no condition exists
- Verify a condition does not exist with the component: Infotainment System State - During an autostart or autostop event
- If a condition exists
