Installation Procedure

  1. GM4285192Courtesy of GENERAL MOTORS COMPANY

    Battery Monitor Module(3) - Install

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  2. Battery Negative Post Clamp Nut(1) - Tighten 4.5 N.m (40 lb in)
  3. Electrical Connector(2) - Connect

    Battery Negative Cable(3) - Install

  5. Use an open ended wrench to hold the battery sensor ground tab, while tightening the battery negative cable nut.(2)
  6. Battery Negative Cable Nut(1) - Tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)
  7. Perform the battery sensor learn procedure. Battery Sensor Module Learn
