Preliminary Procedure  Instrument Panel Tie Bar Replacement
1	Intermediate Steering Shaft Inner Boot Nut [3x] CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten  9 N.m (80 lb in)
2	Intermediate Steering Shaft Boot Procedure  When installing the intermediate steering shaft inner boot, align the boot using the alignment arrow on the outside of the boot and the alignment tab on the inside of the boot.
