Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON/Vehicle in Service Mode.
  2. Verify DTC U3000 is not set.
    • If DTC U3000 0B or U3000 54 is set 
    1. Program the K186 Multifunction Energy Storage Capacitor Control Module.
    2. Verify the DTC does not set.
      • If the DTC sets, replace the K186 Multifunction Energy Storage Capacitor Control Module.
      • Go to next step: If the DTC does not set
    3. All OK.
    • If DTC U3000 07 is set 
    1. Using the scan tool, select Control Module Self Test in Configuration/Reset Functions from the Multifunction Energy Storage Capacitor Control Module menu.
    2. Verify the Control Module Status transitions to Unlocked and the DTC does not set.
      • If the Control Module Status does not unlock or the DTC sets, replace the K186 Multifunction Energy Storage Capacitor Control Module.
      • Go to next step: If the Control Module Status unlocks and the DTC does not set
    3. All OK.
    • Go to next step: If DTC U3000 is not set 
  3. All OK
