Installation Procedure

    Engine Control Module (3) @ Engine Control Module Bracket (4) - Install

  2. Engine Control Module Bracket Brace (2) - Install
    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Engine Control Module Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 9 N.m (80 lb in)

    Engine Control Module Assembly (3) - Install

  5. Engine Control Module Bracket Clip (2) - Install
  6. Engine Control Module Insulator Nut (1) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  7. Connect the electrical connectors.
  8. Install wiring harness retainers to the engine control module bracket.
  9. Air Cleaner Assembly - Install - Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement 
  10. Battery Negative Cable - Connect - Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  11. If replacing, program the ECM. Control Module References
