Installation Procedure

  1. Generator (5) - Position

  2. Engine Wiring Harness Terminal (4) - Install
    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Battery Positive Cable Nut (2) - Install and Tighten 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
  4. Protective Cap (1) - Install
  5. Electrical Connector (3) - Connect
  6. Generator (3) - Install

  7. Harness Bracket (2) - Install
  8. Generator Bolt (1) - Install and Tighten [3x] 58 N.m (43 lb ft)
  9. Install the drive belt. Drive Belt Replacement (LF3) .
  10. Power Brake Booster Pump (1) - Install - Power Brake Booster Pump Replacement

  11. Charge Air Cooler Coolant Pump (3) - Install - Charge Air Cooler Coolant Pump Replacement (LF3)

  12. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (without KL9) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (with KL9)
