Assist Step Control Module Replacement (Retractable Power Assist)

Preliminary Procedure Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
1	Power Assist Step Controller Bolt (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 6 N.m (53 lb in)
2	Insulating Foam Tape NOTE: Do not apply foam tape to the label side of the module.
3	Power Assist Step Controller Procedure Disconnect any electrical connectors. Reprogram the new controller if necessary. Refer to Control Module References .
