Installation Procedure

  1. Position a NEW intermediate steering shaft boot clamp (1) onto the intermediate steering shaft boot.

  2. Intermediate Steering Shaft Boot (1) - Install

  3. Intermediate Steering Shaft (1) - Install - Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement

  4. Slide the intermediate steering shaft boot downwards and onto the steering gear.

  5. Use the DT-35910  pliers (1) to install the NEW intermediate steering shaft boot clamp.
  6. Install the left front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
  7. Intermediate Steering Shaft Inner Boot (1) - Install - Intermediate Steering Shaft Inner Boot Replacement

  8. Upper Intermediate Steering Shaft - Install - Upper Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement 
  9. Floor Front Air Outlet Duct - Left Side - Install - Floor Front Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Left Side
  10. Remove the CH-42640  Steering Column Anti-Rotation Pin (1) from the steering column lower access hole.
