Installation Procedure

  1. GM4285192Courtesy of GENERAL MOTORS COMPANY

    Battery Monitor Module (3) - Install

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  2. Battery Post Negative Cable Clamp Nut (1) - Tighten 4.5 N.m (40 lb in)
  3. Electrical Connector (2) - Connect

    Battery Negative Cable (3) - Install

  5. Use an open ended wrench to hold the battery sensor ground tab, while tightening the battery negative cable nut. (2)
  6. Battery Negative Cable Nut (1) @ Battery Monitor Module - Tighten 11 N.m (97 lb in)
  7. Perform the battery sensor learn procedure. Battery Sensor Module Learn
