Preliminary Procedure Remove the front side door latch and handle bracket assembly from the door. Refer to Front Side Door Latch Replacement .
1	Front Side Door Lock Cylinder Rod to Latch Procedure Remove the front side door lock cylinder rod from the lock cylinder by turn the housing bracket clockwise. Release the lock cylinder rod from the latch only, do not remove the handle cables from the latch. NOTE: Ensure that the door lock system operates properly before installing the trim.

Front Side Door Lock Cylinder Rod to Latch

Procedure

Remove the front side door lock cylinder rod from the lock cylinder by turn the housing bracket clockwise.
Release the lock cylinder rod from the latch only, do not remove the handle cables from the latch.

NOTE:

Ensure that the door lock system operates properly before installing the trim.
