Preliminary Procedure Remove the instrument panel compartment access hole cover. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Access Hole Cover Replacement (Chevrolet/GMC) .
1	Communication Interface Module Procedure Disconnect the electrical connectors. Release the two lower bracket tabs and slide module downward. Reprogram the communication interface module after installation. Refer to Control Module References .

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connectors.
Release the two lower bracket tabs and slide module downward.
