B342 UHF Short Range Low Energy Control Access Transceiver

The vehicle has four B342 UHF Short Range Low Energy Control Access Transceivers. Each receives a constant B+ voltage and ground. Each B342 UHF Short Range Low Energy Control Access Transceiver communicates with the K183 UHF Short Range Low Energy Remote Control Access Transceiver via LIN. The B342 UHF Short Range Low Energy Control Access Transceivers act as a slave to the K183 UHF Short Range Low Energy Remote Control Access Transceiver master.

The B342 UHF Short Range Low Energy Control Access Transceivers are typically located at each corner of the vehicle exterior. This is to ensure consistent and even wireless communication coverage of the vehicle exterior. The B342 UHF Short Range Low Energy Control Access Transceivers send and receive information from a paired KeyPass device via an internal Bluetooth Low Energy transceiver. This information is sent to the K183 UHF Short Range Low Energy Remote Control Access Transceiver via LIN.
