Removal Procedure

- Disable the SIR system. SIR Disabling and Enabling
- NOTE:
Some components not shown for graphic clarity.
Rear Seat Belt Retractor Anchor Plate Bolt (1) - Remove
- Reposition the rear seat belt retractor anchor plate (2) out from underneath the rear floor panel carpet.
Pull the body side rear window garnish molding (1) rearwards to release the tether from the body side inner frame.
- Access the quarter window trim finish panel bolt (2) which is located on the backside of the rear window garnish molding (1) and secures the tether to the body side inner frame.
- Quarter Window Trim Finish Panel Bolt (2) - Remove
- Route the seat belt webbing through the body lock pillar garnish molding (1).
- Body Side Rear Window Garnish Molding (1) - Remove
Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Release the retaining tabs.
- Remote Function Actuator Module (1) - Remove
NOTE:
Tether and quarter window trim finish panel bolt (2) are integral to the body side rear window garnish molding (1).
